Bastrika Prāṇāyāma, known as bellows breath, draws breath in and out of the nose using a vigorous inhalation and forceful exhalation. Option to move the arms and hands. Try and keep the breath slow and steady, there is no need to rush and go fast to gain the benefits. Consistent practice of Bastrika is known to boost energy and increase lung capacity. You might prefer to practice on an empty stomach due to the vigorous breath.
•Avoid if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, are pregnant, or have undergone recent abdominal surgery.
